I have always felt myself drawn to the creative field and I continuously strive to maximize my involvement. Starting at a young age, the urge to immerse myself within the art community was very apparent. Whether that be through artistic extracurricular activities, photography, videography, and/or simply just creating for the enjoyment that it brings.

Design dictates how we interact with the world and influences what we buy, sell, and throw away. The urgency and weight of transitioning our culture back to sustainable design in crucial in moving consumerism towards eco-friendly alternatives. As a designer, being educated in this field is of utmost importance, and incorporating intention behind the consumption of materials is something I value deeply within my work.

Through this lens, I factor longevity and intention into the chosen materials for the furniture, jewelry, and products I develop - in hopes of only creating to be used for decades, or ideally generations.

My drive to create eco-friendly products has heavily influenced my passion for Product Design, which I am studying at the University of Oregon in addition to a minor in Sustainable Business with a concentration in manufacturing and operations.

Thank you for taking time to look through my portfolio,

Tanner Evans.
